Some artists are friends so appearing or playing the role of a vixen on their colleagues’ videos isn’t new.

Wizkid and Burna Boy in Davido’s Dami Duro Video
Prior to the rivalry between Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido, these three artists used to have a great relationship with themselves.
In 2011, Davido dropped the video of his hit song, Dami Duro and Wizkid and Burna Boy made cameo appearances in the beginning of the video.
Back then, Davido and Wizkid were the raves of the moment while Burna Boy was just an underground singer.
Burna Boy in Cynthia Morgan’s “Simatiniya” video
In 2015, Cynthia Morgan who was one of Nigeria’s trending artists as of that time dropped the music video to her song, Simatiniya.
Burna Boy who was reported to be dating her at that time played the role of her estranged lover in the music video. This single act also earned him a nickname, “Cynthia Morgan’s Video vixen‘ from trolls.
However, Cynthia Morgan in a recent revelation shared that as of that time, Burna was the biggest artist and her wanting him to appear on the video almost caused her record label deal with her former boss, Jude Okoye.
Tiwa Savage in Wizkid’s Fever Video
There are many things that have probably hunted Tiwa Savage over the years but one of the biggest is her appearance on Wizkid’s music video for “Fever“.
From 2017, the two artists were reported to be dating. Although there was no confirmation from both parties, the rumours reached a fevered pitch after Wizkid decided to use her as a Vixen in his music video.
Shot by famed filmmaker, Meji Alabi, the visual raced to over 1 million views in just 24 hours after its release.
Wizkid had earlier been roundly ridiculed by critics who rate “Fever” as a poor record. The video sees Tiwa cast as the lead video vixen and the object of Wizkid’s attention.
They touch sensually, take beach walks, she grooms herself for him, they lay in bed, run their hands all over each other, and when it’s sunset, they take little love walks on the beach and at scenic pool sides. They even ride a white horse!
Yemi Alade in Patoranking’s “Mon Bebe” video
In 2021, Patoranking posted a picture of Yemi Alade on social media which sparked dating rumours.
In a simple tweet, Patoranking captioned two stunning pictures of the singer with the affectionate French words ‘Mon Bebe‘ which means ‘my baby’ when translated into English.
The rumours got heated after he posted a picture of them in what seemed to be wedding attire. Later. it was revealed to be stills from a music video shoot of his 2020 song, “Mon Bebe” which features Flavour.
Yemi plays the role of Patoranking’s bride in the visuals.

Pasuma, Davido, others in Wizkid’s “Pakurumo” video.
Wizkid released his music video for his owambe-styled song, Pakurumo” which s off his Superstar album in 2011.
