Here are some of the Nigerian artists who have organized successful tours around the world
Wizkid
Wizkid has never had an unsuccessful concert in Nigeria, and even more so outside the shores of the country. When it comes to shutting down foreign cities, one can count on Starboy to do so.
When he sang ‘My music travel no Visa’, he wasn’t joking. The most iconic of his tours is his 2021 Made In Lagos Tour which saw him shut down cities across North America before making his move to London where he held down the O2 in a 3 day back to back sold-out show.
His O2 concert will forever be unforgettable in the minds of his fans.
Tiwa savage
The African Bad Gyal as she is fondly known is one of Nigeria’s biggest female artists whose popularity goes beyond the borders of Nigeria.
Tiwa just like her male counterpart has successfully sold-out shows abroad, even becoming the first African female artist to sell out the O2 Indigo in 2018.
In 2022, she continues her winning streak with a North American tour titled ‘Water and Garri“, the name taken from her 2021 EP.
Davido
The Omo Baba Olowo isn’t new to hosting tours. In 2020 he hosted his “A Good Time” tour across North America but the tour was shortlived due to the rampant spread of COVID-19 which put the world in lo2580ckdown that same year.
However, before 2020, Davido had hosted two successful tours, His US tour in 2014 and the 30 Billion tour in 2017 during which he hit up 30 cities across the globe.
Burna Boy
After the release of his “African Giant” album, Burna Boy took Europe by storm with a tour of the same name as his album.
However, his iconic tour is the “Spaceship” tour which saw the Odogwu shut cities across Europe again but this time with boosted energy and tenacity.

Yemi Alade
Mama Africa has not only made a name for herself in Nigeria but outside the sores especially in Europe where her music has gained more audiences than in her birth nation.
Yemi Alade took North America by storm with her 2017 “Mama Africa/Kings of Queens‘ tour, them Europe in 2018 with her Blackmagic tour.
She was supposed to tour North America again in 2020 but cancelled it due to the pandemic. However, as the world began opening up again, she resumed touring in the US in 2021.
