    Comedy Skits is now a booming sub-culture of the Entertainment industry and even Nigerian Artists are becoming part of the process.

    Thanks to the social media age, the comedy industry has seen a rise in the growth of comedy skits, Instagram Comedians or Skit makers.

    As first starting as less than one minute clip of funny scenes, these skits can now be up to 2-5 minutes depending on the storyline and recently features cameo roles from popular Music Stars.

    The dynamic nature of the entertainment industry which has seen music stars crossing over to the movie sector is now experiencing the same in the comedy sector.

    Here are some of our Favorite artists who have shown great acting skills on a comedy skit;

    If you didn’t know 2baba can’t act, then welcome to the party. The Legendary singer has been acting in the early 2000s and even played the role of an ex-convict in the popular sitcom, “Professor Johnbull“.

    However, the multi-talented entertainer also showed that he can also play a comic character with his role in episode 6 of Basketmouth hit comedy series, “Adventure of Lulu”

    Peruzzi is another artist who has been found to have a funny side. While the singer can’t be all about music most of the time, he also proved to have a comic soul after featuring on Instagram comedian, Isbae’s skit titled “Wahala“.

    In the skit, Peruzzi plays the role of a man who auditions to join a Gang but has it foiled by the stupidity of his friend (Isbae U)

    Mr. P is a versatile entertainer who can sing and dance well. After his feature on one of Mr Macaroni’s skits, the singer had fans asking him to try acting as another career.

    Mr. P played the role of an Igbo businessman who comes to ask for the nad of Mr Macaraoni’s daughter in marriage but if forced make a decision between his love interest and a 150 Million contract.

    Prior to that role, he has also been featured on a skit by Williams Uchemba and another by Xtreme comedian.
