Performing at the O2 is one of the big dreams of many Nigerian Artists and thanks to Wizkid in 2021, many got their ambition fulfilled.
The O2 Arena at Wembley in London is a musical masterpiece that has left its mark on world music history, providing megastars with a memorable location equipped with beautiful acoustics and space to excite fans from all walks of life to live performances of their records.

Mp3bullet.ng compiled this list of all the Nigerian artists who performed at the O2 Arena for the first time in 2021, thanks to Big Wiz:
Tems
Wizkid’s Essence had shot to the top of the global charts thanks to Tems‘ support, and they’d since become a crowd-pleasing combo, performing the big song at multiple sold-out locations.
It was only fitting that Wizkid’s closing menu on the last day of the 02 Arena tour contained Essence and stunning performance with Tems.
While their performance was one of the major highlights of the show, it got trending after Wizkid tried to lift Tems causing outrage on social media.
Bella Shmurda
Bella Shmurda made his debut on day 2 of the Wizkid Iconic 2021 O2 event where he got massive love from fans.
However, all this won’t be possible without the singer’s friendship with prominent dancer and hypeman Poco Lee who has been instrumental in the artiste’s growth, exposing him not only to Olamide but also to Wizkid.
So when Bella Shmurda performed a rousing rendition of Cash App at the 02 and then took a moment to thank Wizkid, no one was surprised to see recordings of Poco Lee crying happy tears as he watched his friend entertain over 20,000 people.
Buju
When Buju joined Wizkid on the first day of Wiz’s O2 event, they captivated the crowd with a heartfelt version of their mid-tempo bop, Mood.
Buju stayed afterward to perform solo versions of his hit songs, from Outside with Savage to Feeling, with the 20 thousand-strong crowd providing as backup singers.
On day two, Buju made another appearance, dazzling the audience with a performance of Feeling.
Tay Iwar
Essence may be the Made in Lagos anthem, but Wizkid’s collaboration with Tay Iwar and Projexx holds a special place in the hearts of fans of the album, and on day one of Wizkid’s 2021 02 Arena lockdown, he had the crowd in their feelings when he performed True Love alongside Tay Iwar.

Blaqbonez
Wizkid’s talent is backed by his devoted and powerful fanbase, the Wizkid FC, which includes people from all walks of life.
While Chocolate City’s singer, Blaqbonez, has yet to acknowledge that he is a member of this elite group of supporters, he has never shied away from publicly fangirling the megastar in the most humorous and endearing manner.
So it was quite satisfying for Nigerians to see the rapper open the show for his much-loved superstar, Wizkid, on the second day of Wizzy’s three-day event at the 02 Arena.
Ckay
CKay may have the most monthly Spotify listeners of any African singer, making him one of the best things to come out of Nigeria in recent years, but his appearance at Wizkid’s 2021 02 Arena event was all the more notable.
He walked to the stage with a peaceful, guitar-assisted acapella version of his huge hit, Love Nwantiti, before singing along to the recording with the help of the enthusiastic audience.
Soon after, a video of Wizkid joyfully mouthing the lyrics by the stage surfaced, revealing that he was carried up in the songs.
