The most streamed Nigerian album of 2023 so far
Here is the Nigerian album that has received the most streams overall across all streaming platforms in the year 2023.
Following the successful release of some of the biggest and best albums of 2023, the most streamed album of the year so far has been released.
Adekunle Gold, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Omah Lay, Asake, Olamide, and many other artists have all released albums so far in 2023, but it has been confirmed that the album with the highest number of on-demand streams thus far is the second album from the well-known YBNL artist, Asake, titled Work Of Art.
Turntable records show that Asake’s Work of Art received 247 million streams in total, with 57 million of those streams originating from the artist’s songs that were released previously, prior to the album’s release.
The album surpassed Davido’s fourth studio album, Timeless, which held the previous record.
All digital streaming platforms combined have seen more than 241 million on-demand streams of Timeless, with 4.5 million of those streams coming from a previous release (Champion Sound featuring Focalistic).
Asake is the most streamed African artist of all time on the digital streaming platform Audiomack with a total of 1.1 billion streams.
