Nicki Minaj Sparks Online Firestorm With Explosive Allegations Against Megan Thee Stallion, Jay-Z, and Roc Nation Boss

Rap icon Nicki Minaj has ignited a storm across social media after unleashing a series of blistering posts targeting fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion, music mogul Jay-Z, and Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez.
The dramatic outburst began on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, when Minaj took to her Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts with a mix of cryptic comments and sharp accusations that quickly captured the attention of fans, critics, and industry watchers alike.
Minaj first weighed in on a resurfaced post by AkademiksTV, which alleged that a U.S. judge had denied Megan Thee Stallion’s motion to dismiss a harassment lawsuit filed by her former photographer Emilio Garcia. The case, filed in April 2024, accuses Megan of harassment and fostering a hostile work environment—claims she has publicly denied.

In response, Minaj posted the article with a barbed caption:
“What was the name of that law again? Karma’s Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord’s law? We give God the glory & he’s only just begun. Have a blessed day if you can. Lol.”

She followed up with another jab, reposting a viral claim about a paternity suit involving Jay-Z reportedly progressing through the courts:
“Oh is this why he was trending the other day? Idk. I hope all is well. To God be the glory.”
We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest. You still in my TOP 5 tho. Let’s get it nigga.

The situation escalated when Minaj accused Jay-Z of owing her between $100 million and $200 million related to the 2021 sale of the Tidal streaming platform, which was co-founded by a collective of artists including Minaj, Jay-Z, and Rihanna. Minaj claimed she was promised a much larger payout but received only $1 million.
“We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest,” she wrote.
I’m going to use some of the money #JayZ owes me to send some of my Barbz to college, pay their school fees & student loans via my #StudentOfTheGame charity. pic.twitter.com/je1WwfQ61C

Her commentary soon expanded to Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, as Minaj reposted unverified claims accusing Perez of child abuse and took broader aim at the company’s alleged influence in music, sports, and social media.
“You’ve destroyed hip-hop, football, basketball, Instagram, Twitter, touring. The jig is up,” she declared in one of her tweets.
Minaj also questioned Roc Nation’s political positioning, bringing up Perez’s controversial 2021 presidential pardon by Donald Trump and asking why Jay-Z, often seen as a voice for Black empowerment, hadn’t openly backed Democratic candidates in key U.S. elections.

As of press time, Jay-Z, Megan Thee Stallion, and Desiree Perez have not publicly responded to Minaj’s claims. However, her remarks have ignited a wave of online discourse, with some fans supporting her stance while others criticized her for airing grievances on social media.
Industry observers are closely watching the fallout, with speculation mounting over whether legal responses, public statements, or further revelations may follow.
