    Nicki Minaj has tackled the GRAMMY Awards and the Recording Academy for robbing her of the ‘Best New Artist’ award in 2012.

    This is coming shortly after the prestigious Grammy Award released the 2021 nominations for the upcoming awards ceremony.

    Taking to Twitter, the mother of on condemned the award organizers for being partial during the awards in 2012.

    “Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on Billboard & bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade—went on to inspire a generation.” 

    She added, “They gave it to the white man Bon Iver. #PinkFriday.”
