Lionel Messi-mania continues as second documentary in the works with Apple and Inter Miami.
A second Lionel Messi documentary will be produced by Apple TV, this time in collaboration with Major League Soccer to tell the tale of how he came to play for Inter Miami.
The Athletic announced on Tuesday that Apple is going to be making a new, six-part documentary series covering Messi’s arrival to MLS and more. The 36-year-old has had hot start to life in Florida, scoring eight goals in five games.
This will be Apple’s second documentary about the Inter Miami player; the first was made in the wake of his success with Argentina and their 2022 World Cup victory.
The television show would provide viewers “unprecedented access” to events such as the Argentine’s arrival at Inter Miami and other behind-the-scenes activities.
The Leagues Cup semifinal game between the Philadelphia Union and the Argentine superstar and Inter Miami is scheduled for Tuesday.
