Nigerian street-pop sensation Zinoleesky has officially signaled the start of a new musical era with the announcement of his upcoming single, Tungba.

The reveal came through the release of the track’s vibrant cover art, an image that immediately sets the tone for what fans can expect. In the artwork, Zino stands confidently in a bold, red patterned suit, framed by a lush tropical backdrop.
At the center is a massive talking drum, a classic symbol tied to the rhythmic, fast-paced sound Nigerians know as “tungba.” The visual direction alone hints that the Marlian Music star is preparing a return to high-tempo, dance-charged music.
Tungba follows the momentum of Zinoleesky’s recently released debut album Gen Z (April 2025), a project where he blended Afrobeats, street-pop grit, trap influences, and dancehall energy.
Tracks like Most Wanted” and “Fuji Garbage” reaffirmed his knack for switching easily between heartfelt melodies and electrifying party records.
With this new single, Zino looks ready to lean fully into the vibrant, pulsating sound that first won over his fanbase. While he has yet to reveal an official release date, the unveiling of the artwork suggests that Tungba is right around the corner.
Fans of the street-pop prince may want to brace themselves—Zinoleesky seems prepared to light up the airwaves once again.
