The NDLEA discloses why Zinoleesky and Mohbad were arrested.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) has revealed why their Operatives arrested singers Zinoleesky and Mohbad during a midnight raid on their residence in Lagos.
Recall that news of the arrest of the two Marlian artists broke in the early hours of today’s after videos of Instagram live showing the incident went viral.
The officials carried out the arrest without having any search warrants, manhandling the artistes signed to Marlian Music, eyewitnesses claimed.
In videos trending online, the NDLEA operatives were seen assaulting the musician with clubs and shooting into the air to force them into waiting vans.
Oniyide Azeez (Zinoleesky) and Ilerioluwa Oladimeji (Mohbad) are associated with Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley) who is currently facing fraud charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The news was also confirmed by the NDLEA Spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who said Cannabis and Molly were recovered by the operatives.
“Our men raided an area in Idado estate where Bịara Market boys stay. Some quantities of Cannabis sativa and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car,” he told TheCable Lifestyle.
“Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males.”

This is coming weeks after the Agency arrested fast-rising skit maker, De General, after a raid on his residence in Lagos.
De General was immediately charged to court where he was convicted of trafficking tramadol and Cannabis sativa.
The skit maker was, however, pardoned by the court on the grounds that the quantity of the drugs found on him was too small to earn him a sentence.
