Nathaniel Bassey encourages Nigerians as Tinubu gets declared winner of the 2023 Presidential election.
Gospel Minister, Nathaniel Bassey has encouraged Nigerians that God has not abandoned Nigeria no matter the outcome of the Presidential election.
The well-known performer urged Christians to maintain their joy, peace, and faith in God.
Bassey’s declaration comes after Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential election in the early hours of Wednesday.
The artist also advised Christians to refrain from all forms of violence and instead to remain still as God had commanded in an Instagram post.
The post reads;
“Shalom saints, No matter what Dion’t lose your Joy, Peace & Faith in God. God is not seated in heaven looking surprised. He is in Charge. He has asked us to stand still. No Violence whatsoever. Just praise him.”
Captioning the post, he wrote;
‘We have prayed, voted and showed unprecedented patriotism.
‘Let nothing steal your joy. God has not forsaken Nigeria.
“His mercy is speaking for us. Hallelujah!.”
