Jay-Z, Drake and I are on the same level – Nasty C
Nasty C, the South African hip-hop sensation, recently made a bold statement, asserting that he considers himself on the same level as American rap legends like Eminem and Jay-Z.
During an interview with Dream Media SA, the ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ artist compared himself to other iconic figures in the world of hip-hop, including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole.
He expressed his belief that he has no competition within South Africa’s hip-hop scene and confidently claimed that he can go “toe to toe with any rapper in the world.”
The 26-year-old rapper firmly stated that his only true competition comes from American hip-hop superstars, and he is convinced that no other rapper can outshine him. Nasty C’s confidence in his abilities and stature in the global hip-hop scene is evident in his remarks.
Nasty said, “I’m not saying I’m the best rapper in South Africa. But I don’t see anyone who can really defeat me in a rap battle.
“I can go toe to toe with any rapper in the world. I’m in competition with Eminem, Drake, J. Cole, Jay Z and Kendrick. I’m not saying I’m the best rapper in the world. But no rapper can outshine me.”
