Scott McTominay seals Man Utd exit with move to Napoli
Napoli have completed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay for a fee reportedly around €30 million (£25.4 million).
McTominay leaves United after a 22-year association with the club, having progressed through the youth ranks to make 255 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 29 goals. His departure marks the end of a significant chapter at Old Trafford.

During his final season with United, McTominay scored 10 goals, with only Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund netting more. He was a key player for manager Erik ten Hag, contributing both in midfield and attack.
With United shifting away from the style of play that characterized their disappointing 2023/24 season, McTominay could not be guaranteed consistent game time and has moved to Napoli, finalizing his contract just before the Friday transfer deadline.
McTominay becomes one of Napoli’s standout signings in a summer transfer window that has been long and arduous, following a disappointing Serie A campaign where they finished 10th.
New head coach Antonio Conte has expressed dissatisfaction with the club’s previous performance and is aiming to restore their competitive edge after a lackluster defense of their Scudetto.
Ready for the clash! ⚔️
