    #EndSars began trending on Twitter as a result of numerous reports of harassment of Nigerians by Sars and this led to online protests by Nigerians, however, Naira Marley got temper flaring after he tweeted;

    “In this country, We love protesting on twitter That’s d problem”

    After being dragged by Nigerians for his statement, he went live on IG to explain what he meant. He said that ending SARS won’t solve the situation but a full police reform.

    He later said he would lead a protest on Tuesday and this would involve members of the Police force, the big gun

    “So on tuesday we got some sars coming out with us. The ones that claim to only come out for big operations and not the dirty works on road..they’re coming out to show support and to answer some questions, we also got some police officers and soldiers joining the protest.

    Don’t forget guys just incase u see any sars or any forces there on Tuesday don’t start any fight. We are allowed to ask questions? But remember no fight, no vandalism. peaceful protest. Thanks”
