“Na God save me” – Portable recounts how he was advised against going to Diddy’s party during his visit to America
Controversial Nigerian street pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, recently shared his experience regarding an invitation to a party hosted by American hip-hop icon Sean “Diddy” Combs during his trip to the United States.
Diddy has been embroiled in various legal issues and controversies over the past year, including allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering.
His situation intensified when federal agents raided his homes in Miami and Los Angeles, discovering over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricants, leading to speculation about his sexual orientation.
Portable gained attention in Nigeria after videos and photos surfaced of Diddy socializing with several male celebrities, including Burna Boy, Falz, and Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz.
During a live session, Portable revealed that despite receiving a VIP invitation to the event, close associates advised him against attending. He expressed gratitude for heeding that advice, implying that otherwise he might have been associated with Diddy and his controversies.
Taking a subtle jab at those who chose to attend Diddy’s party, Portable questioned whether they genuinely earned their lavish multi-million Naira cars or compromised their integrity for success through association with the hip-hop mogul.
He stated, “I have some questions for some people; Na God save me when I went to America. They said we should go for Diddy’s party. God saved me that I did not go.”
