Why 2Baba wears my beads on his neck, wrist – Singer’s fiancee Natasha Osawaru

Following accusations that she used her traditional beads to place a spiritual hold on legendary singer 2Baba, his fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, has spoken out to clear the air.
In an exclusive interview with Stella Korkus, Natasha dismissed the claims allegedly made by 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia. She maintained that the beads hold deep cultural and sentimental significance rather than any mystical or supernatural influence.
“Those beads were given to me on my birthday. They represent a princess from a royal family. You know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family,” she explained.
Providing further context, Natasha revealed that the beads—called EZENEKA, meaning “River that never runs dry”—were a gift from her mother on her last birthday. She also disclosed that a pearl necklace worn by 2Baba was originally given to her by her grandfather, who had received it from the late Queen of England in recognition of his knighthood.
Addressing allegations of spiritual manipulation, Natasha firmly denied any such claims. “So they are just traditional beads. He liked them and wore them. There is nothing to it; they are not diabolical and do not contain juju,” she stated.
She further clarified that 2Baba willingly chose to wear the beads himself, contrary to insinuations that she placed them on him for control. “I did not wear them on him. He saw them, liked them, and wore them. If you observe, you will see that he has always liked beads and has been wearing several even before now,” she added.
This response follows reports that 2Baba’s mother urged Natasha to release her son after his proposal to her, allegedly insisting that he remove the beads she placed on his hands and neck.
With Natasha setting the record straight, the controversy surrounding her relationship with 2Baba continues to generate discussion.
