Odumodublvck cautions Christian youths attacking Pastor Adeboye saying Muslims don’t insult their clerics
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has criticized the ongoing social media backlash directed at the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Earlier reports surfaced stating that Adeboye faced heavy criticism on social media after allegedly stating that “Nigeria’s problems are spiritual.”
In response to the backlash against the RCCG leader, Odumodublvck pointed out the disparity in how Muslims and Christians treat their religious leaders. He emphasized that Muslim clerics do not face the same level of insults as Christian clerics.
Odumodublvck stressed that Pastor Adeboye deserves respect, especially from Christian youths, given his age and position within the church.
On his X handle, Odumodublvck wrote: “Pastor Adeboye never insulted no one on this app.
“You do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics. Then later we complain that our religion is being stepped on.
“Even based on age wise, una no fit follow una papa talk the way una dey follow Adeboye talk. And he senior una papa and mama.
“That’s why I never rated you n*ggas on this app. Una double standards choke.”
