The debate between Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage and Tems over who is the “Queen of Afrobeat” has dominated several social media platforms.
Following Tem’s historic performance at the recently concluded BET Awards 2022, the internet has remained buzzing with her fans dubbing her the “Queen of Afrobeats.”
The sensational songstress took home two prestigious awards, including ‘Best International Act,’ making her the first Nigerian and African female artiste to win the award.
Alongside, a second award, “Best Collaboration” as a result of her feature on Wizkid’s “Essence” which also features Justin Bieber.
With these massive accomplishments, Twitter users praised her, with some tagging her Afrobeats Queens.
