Award-winning US rap star CHINGY marks his return to the music landscape in 2013 with the massive Afrobeats remix of his latest single “Falling” featuring African music legend 2FACE and Queen of Afrobeats May7ven, which received is radio premiere across Africa and the UK over the past two days – in Nigeria on Beat FM and Cool FM, in the UK on DJ Abrantee’s Afrobeats show on Choice FM as well as on Cloud FM in Tanzania and South Africa’s YFM and Metro FM.
Produced by Triple O Productions, who has previously produced hit records for 2Face, Sound Sultan, Sean Paul and Darey, this glorious drums-led remix sees the legend himself 2Face in such excellent fashion with his trademark vocals, infectious flow and memorable lyrics with the Afrobeats Queen May7ven bringing her beautiful soprano notes and adlibs to the forefront on the song’s chorus and bridge.
Currently on tour in Australia with Fabolous and Omarion, Chingy has been having a very resurgent 2013 with the release of the Chingology EP and starring in the latest season VH1’s hugely popular reality TV series Couples Therapy, now in its third season.
