“Keep Quiet!” – Mr. P of P-Square Slams Seun Kuti Over ‘Peter Obi’ Comment
-
Seun Kuti receives criticism from Mr. P over a remark he made regarding Peter Obi.
Peter Okoye also known as Mr. P, has criticised Seun Kuti for his recent remark against Peter Obi.
Mr. P, one-half of the renowned combo P-Square who has officially endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, did not hold back when addressing Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat artist, performer, teacher, and social critic.
Seun Kuti recently spoke out against Peter Obi’s bid for the presidency, branding him an “opportunist.”
“He hasn’t had the time because he started too late. You can’t be telling me that just because you lost PDP primaries 18 months before the election, you suddenly started a movement, and you have a plan for the country.
No, that’s opportunism. And it’s not an opportunist that will deliver Nigeria—not jumping on Labour Party. The Labour Party has a socialist structure. Peter Obi is a capitalist. Where are they going?”
