Popular Nigerian renowned singer, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P of PSquare, has publicly disputed asking his fans to pay him for a giveaway.

This comes after some of his fans contacted him on social media to demand a return for the money they sent to a fraudster who was impersonating him on social media in the guise of giving back to the fans.

In his tweet, the musician stated that he had never requested his social media fans to pay him for any giveaway, nor had he ever initiated one around the said time.

Mr. P also stated that he cannot fathom why his fans will ignorantly bow to the demand of these fraudsters who demanded they send them N7,000 for N140,000 in return.

    He Wrote:

A good name is better that a bad name! This victims are so selfish and greedy! I thought Giveaway was some one Giving Away money! But how do this fraudsters convince this victims to pay for Giveaway is something I don’t understand! I will continue disclaiming it! How can some one tell you to send him 7k for you to receive 140k?
