    Nigerian singer, Mr. P has made a mockery of those who claim that living in Lagos was the reason he and his brother became successful.

    The singer whose support for Labour Presidential candidate, Peter Obi put him at odds with supporters of the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu Ahmed faced a lto of backlash over claims that he is betraying the state that made him famous.

    Some argued that without moving to Lagos, the singer and his brother won’t have been famous.

    Responding to this claim via his Instagram story, the singer made fun of the ‘Lagos made you’ statement.

    In another post, he asked his critics if Lagos collected their glory and gave it P-square which would explain why they were nor successful like he and his brother despite living in the coastal city.

    In his words;

    “But Lagos made you” Na dem be dis. Lagos made you…Lagos made you! So Lagos collected your glory and gave it to P-square? Lagos no try at all”
