Nigerian award-winning artist Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P of PSquare, has explained in detail why people value results more than hard work.

In an effort to support his claim that people value outcomes more than effort, the singer provided a fairly stunning example.

Mr. P said when a woman gets pregnant all her friends touch her stomach saying congratulations but none of them remembers to appreciate the man for playing his own part in the process by which it was conceived.

The music star then said the moral of it all is, that people, celebrate results more than hard work. In his words:

“When a girl gets pregnant, all her friends touch her stomach and say “CONGRATS” but none of them come to touch the man’s pen*s and say “well done”.
Moral: hardwork is never appreciated. Only the results matters.”
