‘If no be because of your papa, Abeg who Sabi you’ – Mr P fires back at Seun Kuti

Mr. P continues to drag Seun Kuti with Fela Kuti, dares him to remove surname
The continuous battle of words between Mr. P and Seun Kuti may not end anytime soon, as musician Peter Okoye in a recent social media post left many people talking as he drags the Afrobeat singer for relying on his surname.
Remember that it all started when Seun Kuti remarked that it needs the effort of dedicated Nigerians, not an opportunist like Peter Obi, to save Nigeria.
Singer Peter Okoye, a fervent fan of Peter Obi, reacted to this by criticising Seun Kuti for labelling Peter Obi an opportunist and stating that the Afrobeat musician disgraced his father’s legacy.
He said, “Dude just erased his father’s history. You said only the propel of Nigeria can save Nigeria. Is PO and the rest candidates not Nigerian people? Shame! Shame! Shame!!!”
Speaking further, Peter Okoye drags Seun Kuti to filth with a series of posts on his verified Instagram page’s insta-stories section that are blatantly antagonistic.
Seun Kuti, according to Peter Okoye, has never had a career in music and only brags about his illustrious family. Furthermore, he challenges Seun Kuti to go public without the surname “Kuti” and see whether anyone can identify him.
He added that he thinks Seun Kuti is still residing in his papa’s (Fela Kuti’s) house in the trenches and claimed that the continuous bashing from Seun Kuti will not solve the problem.
Peter Okoye wrote, “U had no music career in the first place… All you do is brag about your family backgroun . Thats only what you talk about… What av u been able to achieve or influenced in Nigeria….. Total nothing. PSQUARE is not the problem of Nigeria. Everyone is playing their part, you too play yours. Everyone have their callings, you sing about the ills of the society/ country, we sing about other things. That’s your calling, and you don’t expect everyone to sing like you.
