Peter Okoye unleashes scathing attack on twin brother Paul.
In a surprising turn of events, Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P and formerly one half of the iconic Nigerian music duo P-Square, has publicly condemned his twin brother Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, in a scathing open letter.
The letter, posted on Peter’s Instagram on Monday, August 12, 2024, accuses Paul of persistent disrespect, sabotage, and attempts to turn fans against him.
Peter’s letter responds to Paul’s recent interviews, where Paul claimed to have written and sung 99% of P-Square’s songs, downplaying Peter’s contributions. Peter expressed his frustration with Paul’s failure to acknowledge his own songwriting efforts and the success they achieved together as a duo.
In the letter, Peter also voiced his disappointment with Paul’s behavior, pointing out that he has always used terms like “we” and “us” when referring to P-Square, while Paul often uses “I” and “me.”
He accused Paul of marginalizing and humiliating him, and questioned whether their solo careers have matched the success they had as P-Square.
The letter arrives amidst a long-standing feud between the brothers, who have been at odds since their highly publicized breakup in 2017. Peter also hinted at addressing a recent EFCC matter involving their former manager and elder brother, Jude Okoye, promising to share his side of the story later today.
The open letter has ignited a heated debate among fans and industry insiders, with many weighing in on the turbulent relationship between the brothers and what this could mean for the future of P-Square.
