    Mr Eazi had recently traveled to Sierra Leone for the first time and used that opportunity to aks his father who is a retired Military Officer a question about the country

    The emPawa boss shared a screenshot showing the rather private conversation that he had with his father on Whatsapp.

    The Singer had posed a question at his old man asking if he ever worked in Sierra Leone. In response to his question, the singer’s dad explained that he was in the country when Eazi was born, living in a tent around the Lungi Airport area. He said he was resident in the country from 1990 to 1992.

    In a different portion of the conversation, Mr Eazi’s dad revealed that this trip was the reason for the friction earlier in their relationship. According to him, he always felt like a stranger/intruder to his son whenever he paid a visit.

    Sharing the screenshot on his Instastory, Mr Eazi noted that his Sierra Leone visit was so surreal especially after discovering that his father was serving in the country at the time of his birth.

    He wrote;

    “My trip was so surreal! Seeing that dad was serving/peacekeeping there at the time of my birth. I felt so connected and at peace, in a place, I had only been for the first time. See y’all soon.”
