Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Mr Eazi has sent waves of excitement through the music scene with the unveiling of the official tracklist for his forthcoming EP, Maison Rouge, slated for release on October 29, 2025.

The project, named after the villa where it was recorded, marks a nostalgic return to Mr Eazi’s signature Banku Music style, a unique blend of Ghanaian highlife rhythms and Nigerian melodic flair that first catapulted him to fame.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on October 18, Mr Eazi described Maison Rouge as an unplanned yet deeply inspired project.
“I’ve got a new EP out 29th October & it’s called ‘Maison Rouge,’ named after the villa in [location] where I recorded the project,” he wrote. “This one’s special ’cos it was unplanned and 100% vibes & Banku Music.”
The title Maison Rouge, French for Red House, refers to a villa in Cotonou, Benin, where Eazi recorded the EP in a laid-back, creative setting.

According to the artist, the sessions were spontaneous and full of emotion, resulting in music that feels raw, organic, and deeply personal.
The seven-track project features a mix of new songs and previously released singles that have already struck a chord with listeners.
The full tracklist includes: Wait For Your Love, Casanova, Make E No Tey, Corny, Bus Stop, Love Me Now, and Violence.
Each record captures a different side of Mr Eazi’s artistry, from romantic storytelling to smooth, mid-tempo grooves and rhythmic experimentation. Songs like Love Me Now—a heartfelt tribute to his mother, and Violence have already earned acclaim for their emotional depth and stripped-down production.
Behind the boards, Maison Rouge boasts an impressive lineup of producers, including P. Prime, Ekelly, TMXO, and Kel-P, each contributing their signature sonic touch to the project.
Together, they create a soundscape that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern, a blend of Eazi’s early experimentation and mature craftsmanship.
With its minimalist rollout and element of surprise, Maison Rouge stands as a celebration of artistic freedom and spontaneity. For fans, it’s another reminder of why Mr. Eazi remains one of the most unpredictable, inventive, and boundary-pushing voices in Afrobeats today.
