Mr Eazi Announces Forthcoming EP Maison Rogue, Dropping September 25
Afrobeats trailblazer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has confirmed the release of his latest body of work, Maison Rogue, scheduled to arrive on September 25 under his imprint, emPawa Africa.
The project comes nearly a year after his acclaimed 2023 album, “The Evil Genius,” and draws inspiration from sessions at Hotel Maison Rouge in Cotonou, Benin, a location that also played a role in shaping his earlier music.
With Maison Rogue, Eazi promises a refreshing mix of raw vulnerability and reflective storytelling, hallmarks that have long defined his artistry. The EP is introduced by two singles, “Casanova” and “Corny.”
- Casanova, a cheeky yet revealing take on love and temptation, was produced by TMXO and Kel-P and accompanied by a Barcelona-shot video directed by Ademola Falomo.
- Corny, released in July, offers a softer, melodic love ballad that leans into Eazi’s signature smooth delivery.
In addition, “Attention,” one of his recent singles, made it onto the soundtrack of a major Formula 1 film, further expanding his global footprint.
The EP’s announcement arrives at a busy time for Mr Eazi, both personally and professionally. Just weeks ago, he tied the knot with actress Temi Otedola in a private Icelandic ceremony that made international headlines.
Beyond music, his emPawa Africa platform continues to champion and invest in new African talent, cementing his reputation as both an artist and industry leader.
Though he has not revealed tour plans for 2025, anticipation around Maison Rogue is already mounting, with fans eager to witness the next phase of his ever-evolving sound.
