Mr Eazi dissociates himself from Wizkid amid unending rants
Famous businessman and singer, Mr Eazi, has distanced himself from the ongoing controversy involving superstar Afrobeat artist Wizkid, who has been engaging in a public tirade for over 24 hours, primarily targeting fellow artist Davido.
Despite the heated exchange, Davido has remained silent.
As the feud continued to dominate discussions on social media, a user on X (formerly Twitter) questioned Mr Eazi for staying silent amidst the back-and-forth, asking why he hadn’t shown support for Wizkid during the ordeal.
“You no go support your oga?” the user asked.
In response, Mr Eazi made it clear that he was not getting involved, saying, “My only oga na Jesus Christ.”
Although the response was neutral, it is worth noting that Wizkid and Mr Eazi have shared a positive and collaborative relationship over the years.
They have worked together on several occasions, including the hit track “Daddy Yo,” where Mr. Eazi was featured. Both artists have also expressed mutual respect for contributions to Afrobeats and their roles in taking the genre to a global audience.
Recall, Mr Eazi took to social media to showcase his wealth, just days after sharing a vivid dream in which fellow artist Davido gifted him $2.3 million.
