Mr Eazi calls out Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny over sampling Joeboy’s song without permission.

Mr Eazzi publicly berates Bad Bunny for an unauthorised sample of Joeboy’s song.
Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi is calling out Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny for sampling the song of his signee, Joeboy with permission.
The Empawa founder took to Twitter to tell the Puerto Rican rapper to speak to his lawyers to clear Joeboy’s sample on his album.
The first tweet reads;
“Yo @sanbenito you need to tell your lawyers to stop messing around and clear that Joeboy rip off on your album”
In another tweet, Eazi dropped the links to the two songs and from findings, it is clear Bad Bunny completely sampled Joeboy’s record.
The Joeboy’s record sampled is titled “Empty My Pocket” which was released in 2021 under Lakizo Entertainment and produced by Dera Boy.
Meanwhile, Bad Bunny’s song is titled Enséñame a Bailar which was released in 2022 and even features a sample of Joeboy’s vocal at the end of the track.
The song is off Bad Bunny’s album Un Verano Sin Ti which was released in 2022 and recently won the Best Música Urbana Album category at the recently held 65th Grammy Awards.
