Expanding his reach beyond the average point, rising star MoveAndDream comes through with a solidifying EP project tagged, ‘The Original Dreamer‘.
MoveAndDream has always felt that his passion for music-making has been diluted by his aversion to personal fame, and his refusal to participate in the gimmicks that so many succumb to in order to find success in the modern music industry.
Refreshingly, unlike so many of his peers, MoveAndDream found inspiration in these feelings, and during this year’s extended period of isolation.
“I’ve learned a lot about myself, others, and most importantly the world around me.”
‘The Original Dreamer’ is a collection of songs recorded in MoveAndDream’s London flat. “The songs were mostly made out of boredom” MoveAndDream laughs. He makes the point that this was a gift.
“I had the time to play with my music, exploring different genres, and enjoying genuine personal expression.”
Releasing this collection of work, with the goal of inspiring people to also do what they love makes for a reflective, and uplifting listen.
With the overriding message that people need to stop being so afraid, MoveAndDream carves out his own path within the Hip-Hop and Afrobeat world. He is the player that the post-covid music scene has been crying out for.
