Recall, Joseph Aloba, the father of late Afropop star Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has expressed dissatisfaction over his son’s decision to purchase land in his grandson Liam’s name.
During a live TikTok session, Mohbad’s father questioned why the singer made such a choice, stating that he had never bought anything in his son’s name while he was alive. He also alleged that other properties owned by Mohbad, including two acres of land in Agbowa and two parcels in Elepe, were under the control of his widow’s mother.
Recounting his concerns, he said: “When he came back from tour, Mohbad told me he had bought two plots of land at Elepe in Liam’s name, and I don’t know why. As a father, I never bought anything and put Mohbad’s name on it, so why would he buy something in Liam’s name?”
