Mohbad’s ‘Blessed’ EP Enters US & UK Charts For The First Time, charted in 14 other countries.
The last EP by the late Nigerian artist Mohbad, “Blessed,” debuted on the US and UK charts and is currently charting in 14 countries on Apple Music.
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Mohbad passed away after a brief illness. He was only 27 years old. Since then, the Nigerian music industry has taken a break to reflect on the singer’s passing.
Before passing away, Mohbad released an eight-track EP titled ‘Blessed’ on 30 June 2023. It was his final project after he left his former label, Marlian Records, amidst mistreatment allegations.
‘Blessed’ comprises eight songs: ‘Beast & Peace’, ‘Sabi’, ‘Account Balance’ (featuring Zlatan), ‘Omo Mi’, ‘Blessing’, ‘La Pio Pio’, ‘Ask About Me’, and ‘Pariwo’ (featuring Bella Shmurda).
According to Album Talks on X, the EP debuted on the Apple Music charts for the United States and the United Kingdom at positions 108 and 111, respectively. This is the late singer’s first chart performance in either country.
‘Blessed’ is currently charting in 14 countries on Apple Music, the post said.
