Naira Marley Breaks Silence, Releases Official Statement On Mohbad’s Death.
Marlian Music honcho, Naira Marley has said the death of his former signee, Mohbad left a permanent hole in their hearts, as there were so many things left unsaid, but the love was always there.
The singer said this in an official release posted on his Instagram page, addressing the death of his ex-signee.
Recall that Mohbad died on Tuesday and was buried the following day, with the cause of death yet undisclosed.
Describing the singer, Marley said Mohbaa was “an incredible street pop star who contributed to the foundation of the Marlian Music.”
He said despite the fall-out the label never wished any harm on Mohbad.
“No family is perfect, families have disagreement, but no harm whatsoever was wished on Mohbad… This tragedy is not only a loss for us but to everyone you touched musically around the world.”
He further called on the authorities to do due diligence to unravel any foul play associated with the death of the singer.
In his words, “As we share our condolences to the late Mohbad, we would like to echo a call for thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.”
Mohbad whose name was Promise Oladimeji Aloba left behind a girlfriend and a son who is less than a year old.
