Mohamed Salah wins Premier League Player of the Month award for October 2023.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for his outstanding performances in October 2023. The Egyptian forward showcased remarkable form during the month, commencing with a brace in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Brighton.
Salah continued his goal-scoring exploits a week later, securing another double in Liverpool’s 2-0 home victory over rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby. His fifth goal of the month came against Nottingham Forest, earning him a nomination for the Player of the Month award and placing him on a six-man shortlist.
Despite facing strong competition from players like Douglas Luiz, Bryan Mbeumo, Pedro Neto, Declan Rice, and Cristian Romero, Salah emerged victorious in the vote, securing the award for the fifth time in his Premier League career.
In total, Salah has netted 10 goals and provided four assists in 16 matches across all competitions this season, further solidifying his impact for Liverpool.
