After “Don’t Ask Me What Happened” and “Unlooking”, which was very Rap-heavy, Milli wanted to go back to his R&B roots and drop a track that’s a total break from what he did in his previous project.
Milli also wanted to open up the fan horizon a bit, so that girls don’t think he only makes music for guys, hehe. While Wickedest is really something completely different from Don’t Ask Me What Happened, if you liked “The Hood” on the EP, then this one shouldn’t come as a total surprise.
Wickedest is for the girls. I believe Milli somehow managed to make a track that would appeal to a MUCH wider audience, without selling out.
