After Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Liverpool, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta spoke about his side winning the title ahead of Manchester City, but has admitted that his side does not have the title-winning capacity of Manchester City yet.

The Gunners moved back to the top of the Premier League with a 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday. Mikel Arteta’s men now have 24 points, one more than City, the defending champions.

However, Arteta has put a stop to any talk of Arsenal finally winning a title due to Pep Guardiola’s City’s current dominance, which has nearly lasted two decades.

When asked if Arsenal are ready to challenge the reigning champions by Sky Sports, Arteta replied: “They [Man City] are really strong, they have done that for five years and we have not done that.”

The following league matchups feature City visiting Liverpool and Arsenal travelling to Leeds United.
