Mayorkun has finally unveiled the title and release date of his sophomore album.
Mayorkun via his Instagram on the 7th of October, 2021 dropped a video teasing the release of the album.
According to the caption, the album is titled ‘Back in Office” and would be dropping on the 29th of October, 2021.
Sharing the video via his Instagram page, he wrote;
It’s been 3 years.. Finally my sophomore project – “Back In Office” (The album) is coming Oct. 29th.. Thank you for holding it down for me every time.. Words ain’t enough. ????????
Since his debut album, The Mayor of Lagos, was published three years ago, Mayorkun has not released any new music.

The album, which featured big tunes like Bobo, Mama, Che Che, Tire, and others, reinforced his reputation as one of the country’s most consistent hitmakers.
This was reinforced by his subsequent downpour of hit singles and guest appearances in the three years period.
Mayorkun has responded to fan requests for a new album by announcing the release date and teaser video for his second album.
This new album is preceded by two singles, “Let me Know” and “Back in Office”
