Mayorkun to make return with “Love… For Free” EP.
After a two-year hiatus without a new album, Nigerian award winning artist Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, known professionally as Mayorkun, has returned with an exciting announcement of a new EP titled ‘Love…For Free‘. While the artist has been consistently releasing singles during this period, fans have been eagerly awaiting a full project from him.
The Mayor of Lagos took a break from releasing albums since his last one in 2021. However, he recently revealed a thrilling update about an upcoming EP.
According to Album Talks HQ, the EP is scheduled to be released on October 19 and will feature five tracks, including “Lose Control” featuring Blxckie, “Thermo,” “For Daddy,” “My Energy,” and “Lowkey.”
This announcement has generated a significant surge in anticipation among Mayorkun’s fans, who are excited to welcome the Mayor of Lagos back with this highly anticipated project.

In celebration of the release of ‘Lowkey,’ a single from the ‘Love…For Free‘ EP, Mayorkun shared a snippet of the video on his Instagram with a message expressing his heartfelt appreciation to his audience. The track “Lowkey” marks his second release of 2023 and has been well-received by his fans and supporters.
Additionally, the Certified Loner artist is gearing up to perform at Davido’s annual A.W.A.Y. festival, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 18, 2023. The lineup includes other talented artists such as Victony, Lojay, King Promise, Musa Keys, DJ Spinall, E Cool, and TXC, promising a memorable live music experience.
