Mayorkun explains why his concert in Toronto, Canada was cancelled.
Nigerian hitmaker, Mayorkun has stated in an official statement that his concert stop in Toronto, Canada, has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond his and his team’s control.
The artist announced that the show would be rescheduled because he and his crew had attempted to obtain the appropriate permits required to have a concert but had been unsuccessful in their endeavours. As a result, they are unable to hold a concert until this is resolved.
He wrote;
“Toronto, I’m sorry I won’t be performing at the show tomorrow. My team and I ave done everything within our control to secure the required permits to allow me perform but to no avail.
It’s sooo sad we are doing this but we ll have to postpone the concert to a later date.”

Fans are anticipating seeing the artist perform live once more in Canada, despite the fact that he has not yet announced a new date.
The Toronto show was the second to the last stop on Mayorkun’s “Mayor of Lagos” North American tour and was expected to take place on the 25th of October followed by another stop at Winnipeg, MB on the 27th of October.
