The Mayor of Lagos, Mayorkun, has piqued the interest of music fans with a post about a new album and music.
During a Q&A session on Wednesday, Mayorkun announced via Instagram that new ‘Ge-Ge’ music is on the way, as well as his second studio album, which will be released this year.
He stated that the album is 100% complete after his manager informed fans in June that it was 75% ready.
Though he did not reveal the album’s title or official release date, we are confident it will be released before the end of the year.
The “Betty Butter” crooner also hinted at some of the artists who will be featured on the upcoming project by tagging BBN ex-housemate Veeiye in the album post.

The singer then shared the video teaser for his new single via his Instagram page and disclosed Friday as the release date. Mayorkun wrote;
