The talented Nigerian music producer Masterkraft has revealed why he signed Nigerian indigenous artist CDQ to his label.
Nigerian music producer Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, better known by his stage name Masterkraft, has explained why he signed indigenous rapper Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, better known by his stage name CDQ.
In an interview with Hip TV, the prolific beatmaker, band director, and instrumentalist revealed that he met the rapper while working at a studio and that it was the rapper’s confidence in his craft that impressed him.
He said that he has since taken him on as his own artist, ensuring that he got him on various collaborations he was producing to get CQD’s name out there.

Master, who has worked with almost every big Nigerian artist, including Wizkid, Phyno, Flavour, and a list of others, said in the interview that he finally decided to take CDQ more seriously after the rapper left his banking job to pursue music.
According to the producer, the rapper wanted to collaborate with the versatile producer on his musical journey rather than just make music.
