Mason Greenwood arrested for breaching bail on rape and assault allegations.
According to reports, Manchester United player Mason Greenwood has been arrested on suspicion of breaching bail on rape and assault allegations.
Recall, The Manchester United striker, 21, was arrested in January over allegations of rape, assault and making threats to kill after images and videos were posted online.
According to The Sun, he is currently being questioned once more on suspicion of disobeying the terms of his parole by getting in touch with his purported victim.
Greater Manchester Police said it is ‘aware of an allegation regarding a 21-year-old man breaching his bail conditions and an arrest has been made on Saturday, October 15, 2022’, adding: ‘Enquiries are ongoing at this time.’

Despite the fact that Greenwood’s bail was set to expire in April, the force was successful in requesting its extension during a court hearing in June.
Later, a representative stated that no more information would be given until the suspect was either charged or freed with no further action.
Within hours of the allegations surfacing online, the striker – who has made one appearance for England – was suspended from playing or training with the Old Trafford club until further notice.
Nike suspended its sponsorship deal with Greenwood, and later terminated it, while Electronic Arts confirmed his removal from active squads on its FIFA 22 game.
