Marcus Rashford rubbishes Manchester United wage demand rumours.
Marcus Rashford has lashed out at rumours that he is aiming to become the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is enjoying a career-best season to date, bagging 27 goals in all competitions as well as six assists for United, becoming one of the most effective attacking players in Europe during 2023.
Rashford’s form has coincided with him approaching the end of his Old Trafford contract, so it makes sense that United would like to lock him into a long-term agreement.

Mp3bullet reported as early as November that negotiations had been set up before Rashford began to play well since the World Cup.
Rumours regarding what Rashford is set to demand from any new contract have swirled in recent days, with the Daily Star reporting that the player is keen to earn more than £ 500,000 a week to be the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
However, the United academy graduate has taken to Twitter to dismiss the story, posting on his official account: “Just before this one starts doing the rounds! It’s complete nonsense. The club and myself have been respectful to one another, and that’s how it will remain.
“My focus is purely on finishing as well as possible in the league and winning trophies.”
