Manchester United to announce Mason Greenwood decision within next fortnight.
Before the Premier League season begins, Mason Greenwood’s future at Manchester United will be decided.
In just over two weeks, the Red Devils will host Wolves at Old Trafford to open their season.
Since being detained in January 2022 as a result of the publication of images and videos from a lady, Greenwood has been on suspension.
In February 2023, allegations of rape and assault against Greenwood were dismissed.
Despite this, Greenwood has continued to be suspended as United looks into the striker on their own.
The inquiry is finally coming to an end, and over the next two weeks, United will release its conclusions.
Erik ten Hag has played a part in the investigation, by relaying his thoughts on the situation and on Greenwood himself. He has been unwilling to speak about what he’s said behind closed doors.
Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta is expected to cost United £64 million, and Ten Hag has been open about his team’s troubles scoring goals.
On August 14, the Red Devils play home to the Wolves, with those two clubs playing their last games of the opening weekend.
