Manchester United Football Club has officially released a statement on Cristiano Ronaldo following his actions during the Red Devils clash with Tottenham.
Recall, The 37-year-old striker from Portugal left Old Trafford before the end of Wednesday’s Premier League win over Tottenham.
Ronaldo left the bench and headed toward the tunnel in the 89th minute, seeming dejected despite United’s overwhelming advantage.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner momentarily went back to the locker room, but by the time his teammates came to the field to celebrate an outstanding victory, he had already left.

Speaking after United’s 2-0 win, Erik ten Hag confirmed he had not seen or spoken to Ronaldo but promised to ‘deal with’ the situation.
A statement from Manchester United read: ‘Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea. The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture.’
Manchester United travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday to face a Chelsea side who are just one point above them, sitting fourth in the Premier League.
Ronaldo has been dropped from Manchester United’s squad to face Chelsea this weekend.
