Manchester City have unveiled their third kit for the 2025/26 season, with a design inspired by the city’s rainy skies

Manchester City have teamed up with sportswear giant Puma to reveal their striking third kit for the 2025/26 campaign, a design that channels the essence of Manchester’s famously wet weather straight onto the pitch.
Drawing inspiration from the city’s often overcast skies, the kit features a grey base with a subtle raindrop pattern across the shirt and shorts. Neon green accents around the neckline and down the sides add a vibrant touch, symbolising the electrifying style of football City aim to deliver, no matter the conditions.
“This kit is for everyone who holds City close to their heart, come rain or shine. The skies above Manchester may be grey, but on the pitch, we always light it up,” the club said in a statement.

Inside the kit is the message: “Even when it rains, we shine.” It will serve as an alternative to the black away kit introduced during the Palermo match and will sit alongside this season’s new home strip, which features a sash design for the first time in the club’s history.
Marco Mueller, Puma’s Senior Director of Product Line Management for Teamsport Apparel, explained the creative direction: “Manchester is a city where football is more than a sport – it’s a source of pride and unity. We wanted a kit that reflects the city’s character: embracing the rain, celebrating the loyal fans, and doing things a little differently. Rain or shine, the support never fades.”
