Manchester United’s reaction to explosive Cristiano Ronaldo interview with Piers Morgan.
As a result of Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan, which was partially released on Sunday night, Manchester United is reportedly “furious” with him.
The whole conversation between Ronaldo and Morgan, which will air later this week, covered a wide range of topics, including his predicament at United. Ronaldo acknowledged feeling “betrayed” by the club after first rejoining in 2021.
The 37-year-old made an attempt to leave United last summer but may have ended his time at the club after saying he “doesn’t respect” the club’s current manager Erik ten Hag, that he has been the target of attempts to force him out, and that he had “never heard” of interim manager Ralf Rangnick before he was hired.
Ronaldo also criticised the club for failing to modernise its facilities, admitting to Morgan: “Since Sir Alex Ferguson left, I saw no evolution in the club. The progress was zero. Nothing changed. Not the pool, the jacuzzi, even the gym, even some points the technology, the kitchen.

“They stopped in time. I thought I would see different things, different technology, infrastructure, but unfortunately, we see many things that I saw when I was 20, 21.”
The Portuguese superstar made it obvious how he feels let down by the team, and with the aftermath expected to last all this week and United not playing again for five weeks due to the World Cup, the club must now make a decision on how to move forward.
Mp3bullet sport is clear that Ronaldo’s actions have caused United to be “furious” with him. They had assumed that he and Ten Hag were on “good” terms and would work through the current break before deciding Ronaldo’s long-term position.
Given his connection to them and the fan base, United feels “blinded-sided” and “anticipated better” from the player.
According to 90min sport, The Glazer family, who control the club, are reportedly not happy with how things are turning out and have made it known to chief executive Richard Arnold that they want the matter to be settled “as quickly as possible.”
