Manchester United have released a club statement regarding comments made by Cristiano Ronaldo in a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.
The announcement comes less than a day after clips of Ronaldo’s conversation with Morgan surfaced on social media, in which the veteran forward expressed his discontent with Manchester United’s current status.
In addition to criticizing manager Erik ten Hag, the Portuguese superstar also criticized former manager Ralf Rangnick. chest, although sources indicate that they are exceedingly upset with the situation.

Published on the club’s official website, the statement read: “Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established. Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.”
Ronaldo is unlikely to play for the club again. He didn’t get his goal to leave in the summer, and his remarks appear to have permanently harmed his connection with Ten Hag. A return to Sporting in January could be his way out, but they are unlikely to be able to afford his exorbitant salaries.
