Magixx teases new music with ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ inspired trailer
Nigerian singer Magixx is turning heads with a witty and unconventional rollout for his forthcoming single Unlimited, set for release this Friday, August 15, 2025.
On Monday, August 11, the Mavin Records act released a funny promotional video inspired by the renowned TV game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” featuring veteran host Frank Edoho in his signature role.
In the skit, Magixx takes the “hot seat” to answer a cheeky question: “If an artist has a song in the top 10 but only 13 monthly listeners, what’s happening?” The answer options poke fun at industry quirks: A) A miracle, B) Chart system error, C) Juju, and D) Heavy investment in Nigeria’s farming sector.
Magixx confidently locks in option D, prompting a jubilant celebration with confetti, a giant “Unlimited Funds” cheque from Mavin Records (bearing Don Jazzy’s signature), and the big reveal of the song’s release date. The playful twist has fans both laughing and counting down to the drop.

Since his introduction to the world in 2021 under Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, Magixx has made a name for himself with infectious melodies and chart-friendly hits.
His self-titled debut EP featured the breakout track “Love Don’t Cost a Dime,” later remixed with Ayra Starr, which cemented his presence in the Afrobeats landscape. The following year, he released the ATOM EP, which produced fan favourites like All Over.
Unlimited will be Magixx’s first major solo release of 2025, and the creativity behind its teaser has already amplified expectations.
